Affordable Adventures is currently a 1-man show run by me, Alex Filippini! I’ve always loved being physically active with sports and as I’ve gotten older I’ve learned to really appreciate every adventure and experience I can! When I was in university, I spent a semester abroad in Scotland which opened my eyes to the wonders of travelling and exploring everything that nature has to offer. As you might expect from a student across the pond, I was tight on funds which caused me to pursue travel in the most frugal and practical ways possible. That was quite some time ago now, but it doesn’t mean I don’t still appreciate a little frugal fun now and then!
